He was a 1931 graduate of Wesleyan University. He was an accountant with S.B. Thomas Inc. in Totowa for 25 years, retiring in 1973.
He was an elder at Broadway Presbyterian Church in New York City for many years, was on several missionary boards and was a member of the Fardale Trinity Church in Mahwah. He also served on the board of the New York Mission for the Jews for 50 years.
Married to Mary Haver Mygatt, who died in 1989.
