Funeral services are to be held Friday, at 1:30 p.m. from the Georgas Funeral Home for Fanny A. Chase of Memorial Home who died Monday, December 16, at the age of 77. The Rev. Gary Clark of the United Church of Christ will officiate, and interment will follow in the Neillsville City Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 o’clock this (Thursday) afternoon until time of services Friday.

Fanny Chase, daughter of Joseph E. and Dora (Nielsen) Chase, was born February 23, 1897, at Pine River and moved to the Neillsville area as a small child. She was educated in the Neillsville School system and graduated from Neillsville High School. Following graduation, she taught for a time in several area rural schools.

Miss Chase was employed at Auto-Test in Neillsville until her retirement. She was a resident of Memorial Home for the past five years.

Surviving are two sisters: Mrs. Muriel Kutchera and Mrs. Milo (Leona) Mabie, both of Neillsville; and four brothers: Roy Chase of Neillsville, Clarence Chase of Chicago, Il., Elmer Chase of Garrison, Mt., and Joseph Chase of Granton.
