Sara L. Ball, known as "Sally" L. Ball, of Gladwin, MI and formerly of Oxford, MI, was the widow of Donald H. Ball and the mother of Donald B. (Carol Shoemaker) and Craig E. (Cindy) Ball; grandmother of Amanda (Mike) Cowen, Lee, David and Andrew Ball; great grandmother of Ava and Jac Cowen.

Sally Ball was preceded in death by her brothers Lee "Bud" Bridson, Robert Bridson and Fred Bridson.

Sally was born in Pontiac, MI to Leo J. Bridson and Irma Bridson. She was a graduate of Pontiac High School and Wayne State University where she obtained her degree in Nursing. Sally later continued her education by obtaining a Master's degree in Public Administration. Sally had a long career starting at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Pontiac, and later working in Public Service for Birmingham Schools, The State of Michigan, and eventually retiring from Oakland County Health Department.

Sally was very dedicated to making all lives better through education and care. In her retirement years she continued this by mentoring literacy programs in her new home town of Gladwin and providing home care and support during her husband's illness. Sally lived an independent life and continued to strive forward in all she did until her recent illness.
