Memorial services are scheduled for 10:00 A.M., Thursday, December 7, 2006 at LaGrone Funeral Chapel for Josephine Mae Teaney, age 84, of Roswell, who passed away December 2, 2006 at her residence. Rev. Ben Talley of Calvary Baptist Church will officiate assisted by Rev. Sterling Isaacs and Order of Eastern Star.

Josephine was born February 22, 1922 in Greene County, Iowa to Wendall Elisha and Mary Edna Flack Stevens.

Josephine married E.A. Teaney on May 28, 1989 in Dexter, NM. He survives her at the family home.

Other survivors include 2 daughters: Ginger Koch and her husband Bob of Lake Oswego, OR., Pat Hill and her husband Ken of Colton, OR.; 2 step-daughters: Jean Dunn-Haggerty and her husband Mike and Phyllis Yruegas and her husband Joe, both of Roswell; 2 brothers: Robert Stevens of Fairfax, VA. and Ed Stevens of Dallas, TX.; Several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Josephine was an accomplished seamstress, wonderful cook and homemaker and a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Past President of S.O.O.B. 116, member of Order of Eastern Star Roswell 10 and Lake Arthur 24.
