INFO FROM: KEN DOTY BROWN (#47401862)
As to Mabel, she was raised by her maternal grandfather, Lambert Riker and Lambert's second wife, Catherine McCarty.
In 1895, the family was living in Borough of Netcong; in 1900, they were living in Mount Olive Township.
In 1906, Mabel married Lewis Riedinger, of Hackettstown. Mabel and Lewis had two daughters, but by 1920, Mabel left her husband and daughters to run off with James Fenstumacher, a trombone player in the circus! Lewis and his two daughters moved back in with Lewis's parents. I've not found a divorce record for Lewis and Mabel, nor a marriage record yet for Mabel and James, but Mabel and James lived together until Mabel's death in 1975.
