Kermit Trevor Hudson, 20, of N. Charleston and Round O, SC, a rising junior at Charleston Southern University, entered into eternal rest on the morning of August 2, 2014, from injuries sustained in a car accident on Featherbed Rd. in Round O, SC.

Trevor was born in Walterboro May 28, 1994. At an early age he became interested in music and the arts. He became a member of the school chorus at Alston Middle School in Summerville, and later, while attending Colleton County High School, sang in the its chorus for four years. Under the direction of Stephanie Drawdy, they traveled to New York and performed at Carnegie Hall. After graduating in 2012, Trevor attended USC Salkehatchie for one year before transferring to Charleston Southern University. He was a member of the Concert Singers and the Singing Buccaneers. He was also a member of the Charleston Mens' Chorus, traveling recently to Spain to perform.

Religion was important to Trevor, and he was an active member of the First Baptist church of Walterboro. He was heavily involved with the church youth, the adult choir, and had been serving as the interim church organist throughout the past few months. He had also been employed with the Colleton County School District, handling video and audio duties for the high school and recording school board meetings. Trevor was a well-known and respected young man throughout Colleton County and his loss will be greatly felt by the community for years to come.

In addition to his mother and step-father, Christine "Chris" and Jerome Stone of Varnville, SC; he is survived by his grandmother, Sally Smith Hudson of Round O, SC; sister, Dawn Hudson of Round O, SC; his step-brother A.J. Stone; two aunts, Cherie H. Graham and husband, Dr. Matthew Graham and Stacy Hudson, all of Summerville, SC; and numerous cousins, other relatives, and friends..

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Kermit VonLehe Hudson.
