Raymond C. Allenbaugh, 82, of Linton, passed away at 2:45 p.m. Monday, Dec. 6, 2004, at Union Hospital, Terre Haute.
Born Sept. 11, 1922 in Cerre, Ill., he was the son of Charles E. and Harriett (Bolin) Allenbaugh. His first wife Betty J. (Thompson) Allenbaugh passed away March 4, 2000. On Oct. 18, 2000, he married Marilyn (Dennis) Allenbaugh.
He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was an operator with the Teamsters Union and owned and operated Supper Club Restaurant. He was a member of the American Legion Post 22, Linton and Linton BPO Elks 866.
Survivors include: his wife Marilyn Allenbaugh of Linton; one son Raymond Glenn Allenbaugh of Virginia; one daughter Robyn Piquette of Arlington Heights, Ill.; one step-son Paul Wolfe of Destin Fla.; two step-daughters, Tamyra Thornton of Linton and Teresa Padgett of Linton; one brother Frank Allenbaugh of Reelsville; three grandchildren and three step grandchildren; one great grand-daughter; one sister Rozetta Henderson of Terre Haute and his dog Maggie.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his previous wife Betty J. Allenbaugh; two brothers, Lloyd and Charles Allenbaugh; one sister Maureen Allenbaugh; and one step-son Terry Padgett.
Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday at Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel with the Rev. Warren R. Allen officiating. Burial will be in Dugger Cemetery.
