THEODORE F. BURDICK

Theodore Francis Burdick died yesterday at his home in West Falmouth after an illness of several months. He was 81. Funeral services will be held at his home Friday afternoon at 2:30 by the Rev. R. L. Samuelson of the West Falmouth M.E. church. Burial will be in Oak Grove cemetery.

Mr. Burdick was born in Falmouth January 4, 1854. His parents were William H. and Abbie Burdick. Part of his boyhood he spent in Barnstable. He attended schools both there and in Falmouth. He married Miss Louetta F. Gifford, daughter of Charley Henry and Sarah Gifford of West Falmouth. Mrs. Burdick died several years ago. Mr. Burdick's health began to fail about two years ago, and since May he had been confined to his bed. He was formerly member of Nobska Lodge, Knights of Pythias.

Mr. Burdick leaves one son, Ernest Burdick of Wellesley; two sisters, Mrs. James Wicks and Mrs. Helen M. Bowman, both of West Falmouth; two half-brothers, Leroy V. Bowman of West Falmouth and Dr. Elmor Bowman of Cambridge; and a half-sister, Mrs. Harry B. Hammond of Pocasset.
