Wichita Resident Since 1914 Dies In Local Hospital

Mrs. Hattie A. Bidwell, 82, of 439 N. Vine, a Wichita resident since 1914, died Saturday in a local hospital.

She was born July 5, 1876, in Des Moines, Iowa, and came to Kansas in 1882. She was a member of First Church of the Brethren.

Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Lee [Josephine] Briley, 609 N. Custer, Mrs. W.E. Goodman, Mulvane, and Mrs. Al [Flora] Cameron, Fall River, Kan.; a son, A.J., 508 S. Edwards; a sister, Mrs. Addie Watson 503 S. Sedgwick; a brother, John Smith, 1600 S. Edwards; 14 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday in Culbertson Mortury. The Rev. Dale Brown, summer pastor of First Church of the Brethren, will officiate.

Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery.
