Grandson of Revolutionary War Patriot Isaac DeGraff of New York.

Alfred Toll, aged 78, president of the Badger Lumber company of Kansas City, an uncle of Mrs. Frank H. Weems, died yesterday afternoon at his home, 3500 Warwick Boulevard, in Kansas City. He had been ill for two weeks, with stomach trouble.
January 6 1863, Mr. Toll married Mary Lee, a daughter of Warren and Eliza Lee, of Maryland and a sister of Col. Charles N. Lee, superintendent of the Union station at Hannibal. Col. Lee is Mrs. Weems' father.
In 1866, Mr. Toll located in Hannibal, where he conducted a successful lumber company lumber business for 20 years, then moving to Kansas City, where he had made a fortune in the lumber business.
Mrs. Toll, a brother General L. D. Toll of Petoskey Michigan, and a son Philip R. survive him.
