NEW CARLISLE, IN. -- James Henry Anderson, 81, of Winter Haven, Florida passed away on July 27, 2014 of natural causes.

Jim was born on October 11, 1932 in South Bend, IN to the late John and Elva Anderson.

Jim was preceded in death by his wife Marlyn, brother Mike and sister Nancy.

Jim was owner of Anderson Plumbing and Heating in New Carlisle, IN. Jim and Marlyn wintered in Haines City, Florida, moving to Winter Haven, Florida permanently in 2004. Jim was very active in the New Carlisle Lions Club and was an avid golfer.

Survivors include daughters, Lynn Hill (Judd) of New Carlisle and Sharon Grace (Mike) of Winter Haven, Florida; grandson, Brian Hill of South Bend, granddaughter, Valerie Hill of Rolling Prairie, and great-grandchildren, Addison, Carter and Colton. Surviving brothers include: William of South Bend, Robert of New Carlisle and John of Peach Tree City, Georgia. Surviving sisters include: Mary of New Carlisle, Pat of Derby, Kansas and Rosella of Kalamazoo, Michigan.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date at the New Carlisle Cemetery.
