Lanser ANTOINE ADOLPHE FONCK, born in Verviers on Januari 10th 1893, a shop assistant in Liège's "Grand Bazar" who enlisted in the Belgian Army for 3 years.
On August 4, a century ago, he was killed by ennemie-fire in the Hamlet of "La Croix Polinard", in Thimister, Belgium. His body was found next to his death horse, he was, and still is, burried in Thimister Churchyard Cemetery.
