On 14 August, 1878 she married Solomon Anderson Young at the Central Presbyterian church on Sherman street, Denver, Colorado, according to church records. During their marriage, they moved many times throughout the West; Colorado, Kansas and finally to Round Grove, Oklahoma during the homesteading of Kay county in 1893.
They lost a legal dispute for their claim to their homestead in 1905 and moved to the town of Round Grove where, in 1906, Solomon died of pneumonia.
Together, Celia and Solomon had 10 children, four of them surviving to adulthood; Daisy Belle, Rose Ellen, Fred A., and Dollie Marie.
After Solomon’s death, Celia and other family members, including daughter Daisy Belle (Young) Hobaugh, moved to Swink, Colorado where on 23 January 1907, Celia married Crescencio Santallen. By 1910, she is listed in the Pueblo city directory as Celia Ann Young.
Between 1910 and 1920, Celia married a Mr. Miller. And by 1920, she was again a widow and living in Portland, Fremont county, Colorado with her daughter Daisy Belle (now Bustos), and family.
Celia passed on 26 January 1940 and is buried in an unmarked grave in block 21 ½, lot 16 of Union-Highland Cemetery, Florence, Colorado.
