MRS. LOUISA E. ABBOTT HAS PASSED AWAYMrs. Louisa Elvira Abbott resided in California since 1868 and passed away Monday morning at the home of her son, M. O. Abbott, in Selma. She suffered a stroke of paralysis about four months ago and grew steadily weaker since that time.
Louisa was a native of La Poite, Indiana, aged 83 years, 8 months and 17 days. She married Judge O. L. Abbott in Indiana and they came to California by the Isthmus of Panama route in 1868, locating in Santa Barbara. They afterward moved to Reedley and then to Selma. Judge Abbott died there in 1912.
The deceased is survived by two sons, Milton O. and Stanton B., both residing in Selma.
Funeral Services: Robinsons Undertaking Parlor.
Interment: Odd Fellows Cemetery.
