Mrs. MARY WOODS ARMSTRONG, wife of Alexander Armstrong, former Attorney General of Maryland, died Wednesday in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Mrs. Armstrong had gone to the southwestern city for her health, which had been poor for about a year. She was the former Miss Mary Woods, daughter of the late Doctor Hiram Woods, former chief ophthalmologist at the University Hospital and Mrs. Woods. She made her home in Ruxton, Maryland. She was a great niece of Mrs. Alice L. Rice, of Braddock Heights. Before marriage she spent her summers at Braddock Heights at the Hall Cottage with her aunts, Mrs. John R. White and Miss Elizabeth Hall.

Mrs. Armstrong is survived by her husband and mother; a son, Alexander Armstrong, Jr.; a brother, Dr. Alan C. Woods, director of the Wilmer Institute, of the Johns Hopkins Hospital, and two sisters, Mrs. William H. Hudgins and Mrs. Arthur W. Machen, all of Baltimore.
