Surviving are his wife, who before marriage was Miss Virginia Reese of Greenville; two sons, Charles and Fred at home; his mother, Mrs. Emaline Lucas, of Greenville; four brothers, John C., Wm. H. and D. H. Lucas, all of Greenville, and R. H. Lucas, of Washington.
The funeral will be held from the M. E. Church in Greenville Monday afternoon at two-thirty o'clock, conducted by the pastor, the Rev. N. C. Rice, assisted by the Rev. P. E. Brame and the Rev. Gaston Boyle. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery.
Pallbearers will be, active: H. D. Campbell, J. H. Wade, W. M. Rogzee, E. L. McLear, C. M. Brown, and Dorsey Vines; honorary, C. E. Shultz, Howe Spitler, A. B. Landrum John Strickler, Floyd Strickler, Dr. Fred Shultz.
