She graduated from Ben Lomond High and Weber State University with a degree in Business and Marketing. She was employed at Job Corps, Flying J and for the last 6 years at the IRS, where she implemented an innovative awards program which was named after her.
She was an excellent cook and also enjoyed decorating. She loved shopping with her sisters.
Turessa is survived by her sisters, Martha (LaSalle) Turner, Sandra (Steve) Carpenter, Gwenlyon Jackson, Alice (Mark) Foulger; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Turessa was preceded in death by her parents, Julia Mae and Sam Alexander; brothers, Elbert Ross Jr., Albert Ross and Jimmy Lee Ross.
A Home Going Celebration will be held at New Zions Baptist Church, 2935 Lincoln Ave, Ogden on Saturday, August 2, 2014 at 1 p.m. with a viewing prior from 11 to 1 p.m.
Interment, Washington Heights Memorial Park.
