Hulda Anna Brown was a daughter of John and Mercy (Chesebrough) Brown born on 30 Jun 1840 in Worcester, Otsego County, New York, and died on 15 Nov 1906 in Brooklyn, Kings County, New York. "Deaths-

Mrs. Spencer T. Pratt-

Milford, Nov 16-(Special).-The sympathy of this entire community goes to the family of Spencer T. Pratt of Brooklyn, formerly of this village, whose wife, Huldah A. Brown, died at her home there Thursday morning, after a lingering illness. She was a native of this town and after her marriage to Mr. Pratt in 1859, settled in this village where, for nearly 20 years, he conducted an extensive commission business in butter, cheese and eggs, later removing to New York city where, for about 25 years, he has been one of the leading commission men of the metropolis in the above products. Mrs. Pratt is remembered, especially by the older inhabitants, as a wife, strong, courageous, sympathetic, thrifty, as a mother, serene affectionate, devoted, hopeful, helpful; and while she gave to the home the attention of an ideal wife and mother, she neglected none of the duties pertaining to citizenship and church membership ever devoted to the interest of the church, and community. She is survived by her husband and three sons, Charles S., of El Paso, Texas, Arthur V., in business with his father, and Rev. John K., pastor of a Congregational church in New Jersey. The body will be brought here for burial on the 7:13 train Saturday evening interment Sunday morning. Rev. W. W. Cole officiating."
