"Katie E. Myers, 86, passed away Jan. 19, 2002. Mrs. Myers was born Oct. 25, 1915 in Vanzant, Ky. She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Elmer and is survived by sons... daughter, Sue... grandchidren... and three great- grandchildren. Mom loved being with her family and will be greatly missed. Special thanks to Pleasant View Nursing Home and Hospice for the special care that they gave her. Services will be at the Bacher Funeral Home, 3326 Manchester Rd. on Monday at 1 p.m. Interment at East Liberty Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to the service."
