Lida is the daughter of Osborne Barry Baldwin and Lenora Carothers; granddaughter of James Henderson Carothers, the founder and father of the town of Pacheco and Emily F. Prince. He married Edna Potwin second on 17 Jun 1915 at the home of Mrs. L.M. Lasalle, 1947 Dwight Way, Berkeley, Alameda, CA.
George was the brother of Warren Thompson, of San Francisco at the time of his brother's death and Louise Thompson of South Boston. George had been the principal of Alameda High School in Oakland (retired), which happens to be where Edna Potwin taught English.
