BURTON, WALLACE, 78, of Louisville, passed away August 5, 2010 at Norton-Audubon Hospital. He was retired from General Electric and a Baptist by faith.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Jean H. Burton; and a son, Jerry Burton. He is survived by three sons, Ronnie Burton (Brenda), Eddie Burton (Leslie), and Johnny Burton (Teresa); two daughters, Sandy Burton (Gerald Ford) and Phyllis Fultz (Kelly); a brother, Sherman Burton; two sisters, Shirley Bryant and Pinkie Lee; 21 grandchildren; and 36 great-grandchildren.
Funeral service for Mr. Burton will be noon on Monday at Evergreen Funeral Home with entombment in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. on Sunday. Expressions of sympathy can be made to Hosparus.
