Charles J. Dove, 79, passed away at home on August 2, 2014. He was born May 12, 1935 in Jackson, MI, son of the late Charles and Dorothea (Kuehn) Dove. Charles was retired from the U.S. Navy; worked as a tour bus driver, and loved to play golf. Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Wanda "Marckel", three daughters: Carrie (Mike) Short, Carla (Glen) Spetz and Claire Dove; six grandchildren: Andrew, Brandie (Chris), Jason (Jennifer), Jennifer, Laura, and Robert; 12 great grandchildren, and one sister, Lucille Dove. A Private Graveside service will be held Thursday, August 8, 2014 at the Oakwood Cemetery, Grand Ledge. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
