Haynesville, LA - Memorial Service for Mr. Tommy R. Davidson , age 62, will be held at 10:00 am, Friday, August 8, 2014, at the Bailey Funeral Home Chapel, Springhill, LA, with Bro. Tom Bowles officiating.
Visitation will be held Thursday, August 7, 2014 from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm at the funeral home.
Mr. Davidson was born on October 19, 1951 to Alvie and Valentine Dickeson Davidson in Taylor, AR and passed away on Sunday, August 3, 2014 at his home in Haynesville. He was a member of the Word of Light Faith Ministries, Springhill, and was retired from Albermarle in Magnolia after 26 years of service. He was a former board president of the Norton Shop Water Association and he loved to hunt and fish, make fishing jigs, and singing in church. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather and will missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Dixie Wright Davidson; son, Eric Davidson of Sarepta; daughter, Jennifer Dennis and husband, Roy Brian of Shongaloo; three grandchildren, Tylor Davidson, Trey Davidson, Lily Morton; sister, Mary Williams and husband, Larry of Springhill; four brothers, Curtis Davidson and wife, Nita of Hobbs, NM, James Davidson and wife, Ursula of Waynesville, MO, David Davidson and wife, Dorothy of Springhill, Don Davidson and wife, Carol of Avinger, TX; and a host of nieces, nephews, other extended family and friends.
Mr. Davidson was preceded in death by his parents.
