Mr. Koopman was employed as office supervisor of Central Illinois Public Service Company, Hutsonville Generating Station. He retired in 1977.
He graduated from Gorham High in Gorham, Ill., in 1930. He worked in Evansville, Ind. before moving to Hutsonville in 1941.
