Born to this union were 4 children: Mary Lucinda, Levi Wesley, Effie May and John Otis. Came to Laona in 1901. Martha died 11-4-1938 at age 86 years, 6 months and 26 days.
She leaves to mourn 1 daughter, Effie May (Irish) Zahringer; 2 sons, Levi and John; 1 daughter, Mary Lucinda, precded her in death. Also to mourn are 13 grandchildren, ? great grandchildren, 11 great-great grandchildren and numerous other relatives. She made her home with Mrs. Effie Zahringer for the past 23 years after the death of her husband Chester O. Starks.
The funeral was held at the Presbyteran church, Reverand Haskins officiating, with interment at Forest Hill Cemetary. Mr. and Mrs. Tony Endrizzio of Hurley, Wisconsin, and Mrs. Carrie Kane and son Gordon, and Mrs. Emil Wagner of Green Bay were out of town relatives who attended the funeral.
