Kenneth E. Staanton, 54, 1031 S. Lutz, Shawano, died unexpectedly Monday, November 13, in Shawano.
Stanton was born September 15, 1924 in Michigan, the (adpoted) son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Carl Stanton. He was employed as a salesman with Macken's Pontiac in Green Bay and resided in Shawano for the past 14 years. He and the former Elizabeth (Betty) Murphy were married October 29, 1953 in Milwaukee.
Survivors include his wife, three daughters, Mrs. Ralph (Kathleen) Erickson, Shawano; Susan and Mary at home; four sons, Michael, Tim, Brian, Kevin at home; and one grandchild. One brother preceded him in death.
Services will be held Thursday, November 16, at noon at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Shawano. The Rev. William Spalding will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetary.
Friends may call at Born Funeral Home Shawano from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and after 9 a.m. Thursday until time of service. A prayer service will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday.
