"Surviving are his mother, Mrs. Anderson, of Elysian Fields; one daughter, Mrs. Loraine D. Sanders, of Dallas; four brothers, Elbert Anderson, of Marshall, Riley Anderson, of Elysian Fields, Wilson Anderson, of Dallas, Zepdee Anderson, of San Francisco, California; and two sisters, Mrs. Janie Stafford, of Dallas, and Mrs. Nora Perry, of Marshall; two grandchildren, Miss Betty J. Sanders and Gilbert R. Sanders, both of Dallas; and one great-grandchild, Charles R. Sanders, of Dallas."
Upon his passing, he was laid to rest on March 29, 1970 on the grounds of Lewis Cemetery in Harrison County, Texas.
His wife preceded him in death.
The funeral directors with Lewis Funeral Home, as supervised by Eddie Richardson, managed the burial arrangements.
