Dennis "Speedy" Younglove, 82, passed away Saturday, February 18, 2006, at a local nursing center. Mr. Younglove was born September 8, 1923, in Potosi to Garfield Arthur and Janie Florance (Woody) Younglove. Before his retirement, he was a custodian for the Abilene Independent School District. Survivors include two sisters, Bertha Mae Bleeker of Merkel and Ethelda Josephine Jennings of Abilene; a brother, Preston Younglove of Vancouver, Washington; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Younglove was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Evalena Denny; two brothers, Robert John and Thomas Alford Younglove.
