The daughter of the late Alfred and Lila (Bienaman) Lois, Marilyn was born in Kenosha on October 29, 1931. Marilyn attended local schools and was a graduate of Mary D. Bradford High School.
Marilyn married Donald E. "Dutch" LaJeunesse on January 27, 1951 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church; they enjoyed 61 wonderful years together.
Marilyn devoted her life to being a loving and supportive wife, mother and grandmother. Marilyn enjoyed family picnics by Lake Michigan, vacationing up north, playing poker with friends and family, neighborhood get-togethers, bowling, dancing, camping, fishing, and cheering on the Green Bay Packers. Marilyn was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church.
Surviving Marilyn are her husband, Donald LaJeunesse of Kenosha; four children, Debra (James) Drissel of Lake Alfred, FL, Richard (Celeste) LaJeunesse of Germantown, WI, Donald (Jacky) LaJeunesse of Kenosha, WI, and Kari (Richard) Aiello of Kenosha, WI.
She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and a brother, Paul Lois of Kenosha, WI.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Donald and James Lois.
Service:
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, February 28, 2012. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 7400 39th Avenue. Relatives and friends are asked to meet at the church for the Mass. Interment will follow in St. George Cemetery.
Visitation:
A visitation will be held at the Piasecki-Althaus Funeral Home, 3720 39th Avenue on Monday, February 27th from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
