Our father in heaven has lifted Maggie Belle Davis from her life on earth and has taken her home where she is promised to be whole again.
Maggie Belle was born February 11, 1920 to Andrew Caddell Doughty II and Maggie Lee Smith Doughty.
She was married to Clarence Cole Davis who preceded her in life after life in 1987.
Maggie Belle is survived by her daughter, Colette Mccurry, her daughter and son in law, Gay and Ed Williams, her grandchildren Rick Beaty, Tami Bokesz, Charles Williams, Ann Marie Trundle and Shawn Williams Duncan, and her great grandchildren Chris and Josh Bokesz, Ashley and Brandon Beaty, and Jennifer and Zachary Trundle, and by her brother, Andrew Caddell Doughty III.
Maggie Belle Davis was a public health employee for 40 years. She was the first woman president for the Texas Public Health Association in 1960 and was an active Pilot Club Member for many years.
Gay and Colette remember her as a very loving mother with a personality and desire to achieve honesty and goodness all her life. She was loved by many and she will always be remembered as a fun loving person who was very responsible! We will miss her-though we have missed her for years due to dementia, Maggie Belle's passing into life after life should surely be a joy!
As a family, we lift Maggie Belle Davis up in prayer to God.
