Between 1920 & 1922 David Bagby was elected to Missouri St. Legislature .Two terms, Elected as Dem. Party to MO. St. Senator. Died while in office
He was instantly killed in an automobile accident. The car skidded & rolled down an embankment a couple miles south of Fayette City. Driving the auto was Luman Spry, County superintendent of Howard CO. Schools, He was not injured.
David studied Law in Central Collage & University of Paris, France

He, as an attorney, also served two terms as Howard CO MO. Prosecuting Attorney. The same position as his father Robert M. Bagby held.
