OBITUARY - EULALIA E. MURPHY (Shawano Evening Leader 1989)

Eulalia E. Murphy, age 92, formerly of Shawano, died Tuesday, April 18, 1989 at St. Mary's Home of Manitowoc.

She was born Eulalia Landgraf September 23, 1896 in Kaukauna, Wisconsin, the daughter of the late John and Catherine Landgraf. She was a graduate of the Stevens Point State College, and married Dr. James H. Murphy in 1922 in Kaukauna. The couple resided in Clintonville, Oshkosh, King and Shawano. Her husband proceeded her in death in January of 1972.

Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, John and Marie Murphy of Valders, and Gerald and Caroline Murphy of Port Washington; two daughters and one son-in-law, Mary and Harold Irish of Shawano, and Margaret Trainor of Dwight, Ill.; 23 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. James H. Murphy; a daughter Betty Stanton; two sons, James P. and Thomas Murphy; and two sons-in-law, Robert Trainor and Kenneth Stanton.

Funeral services will be at 10:15 a.m. at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, Wisconsin, and at 11 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Clark Mills, Wisconsin with Reverand John Conrad officiating. Burial wil be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Kaukauna. Friends may call at the Pfeffer Funeral Home from 4-8 p.m. Thursdaywith a prayer service Thursday evening at 7 p.m.
