Couple to Leave by Auto And Will Visit in Southern California.
Under a beautiful wedding bell of rose buds, candytuft and greenery, the marriage ritual of the Methodist faith will be read this morning by Rev. W. P. Grant of this city, uniting in marriage Miss Camille Angove and James Gregory Cornish, both of this city. The ceremony will be performed at the home which was recently fitted up by the groom on Colfax avenue and will be witnessed by relatives and friends.
The wedding will be a prettily appointed affair. Pink and white decorations are used in profusion throughout the house, and the color scheme is heightened by sprays of greenery.
To the strains of the wedding march played by Miss Bessie Angove, the bride-to-be will enter the parlor on the arm of her mother, Mrs. William Edwards, who will give her in marriage. Her attendants will be Miss Zelma Allen, her cousin, and Miss Frances Mewten, a half-sister of the groom-elect. The grooms' attendants will be Elton Phillips, his cousin, and A. M. Angove, brother of the bride. Miss Angove will be attired in a beautiful creation of crepe de chine over messaline. Miss Allen, the bridesmaid, will be attired in pink, while the maid of honor, Miss Mewten, will be robed in white. The bride will carry a bouquet of white carnations and ferns.
Following the ceremony an elaborate wedding breakfast will be served, after which the young couple will leave by automobile for Colfax. They will visit in southern California for a short time, after which they will return to this city to make their home.
Miss Angove is the daughter of Mrs. William Edwards of Colfax avenue. She is very popular among her countless acquaintances, being especially prominent in musical circles and in church life. she is a talented musician and has a sweet alto voice which has often been heard at public entertainments. Miss Angove is one of the fair daughters of the foothills and her wide acquaintance will offer wishes for unending happiness through married life.
Mr. Cornish is the son of Mrs. Josiah Newten and is employed at the Empire mine. He is a man of sterling worth and his affable manner has earned for him the respect and esteem of his legion of friends.
