Sandra worked hard her adult life to care for her daughters that she loved beyond measure. She was a sitter/health care aide and sat with the elderly and chronically ill. She placed much love and care into those that she sat with and they all became her extended family.
She was always the one person that I could call when times were tough and she would listen without fail and provide guidance and advice. I may not have always taken her advice, but she was a great listener. She too would call me when she went through difficult times and I would listen to her. Cousins we were, but we were more like sisters.
She went through a tough battle with kidney cancer and was taken from us way too soon. Sandra will remain in our hearts.
