Mrs. Charles (Rachel) Lambert, 84, of Kellnersville, died early Friday morning, March 2, 1989 at Holy Family Medical Center, Manitowoc. Funeral services will be 10:30 am Monday at Saur Funeral Home, Kellnersville. Rev. Paul Schumacher will officiate with burial at Knollwood Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Lambert, nee Rachel Ringmeier, was born January 8, 1905 in the Town of Two Creeks, daughter of the late Edward and Emma Zierzow Ringmeier. She was a graduate of Washington High School, Two Rivers, graduating with the Class of 1923. She also was a graduate from the former Manitowoc County Normal School. Mrs. Lambert was a teacher at the former Tannery Grade School. She married Charles Lambert on January 8, 1935 at Kellnersville. The couple owned and operated Lambert Implement until their retirement. He preceded her in death July 3, 1982. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth and Judy Lambert of Kellnersville; a daughter and son-in-law, Marian and Clarence Novachek of Two Rivers; three sisters, Mrs. Harold (Martha) Puls of Two Rivers, Mrs. Louis (Lorraine) Saubert of Two Rivers, Mrs. Grace Pfefferkorn of Two Rivers; sisters-in-law, Mrs. Lorene Meyer of rural Two Rivers, Mrs. Dorothy Ringmeier of rural Manitowoc, Mrs. Sylvester (Lucy) Barta of Kellnersville, Mrs. Mayme Lambert of Manitowoc, Mrs. Julia Lambert of Iron Mountain, Michigan; eight grandchildren, Alan, Brian, Cory, Duane and Elton Lambert; Cathy, Karen and Gregg Novachek. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Raymond and Edward Ringmeier. Friends may call at Saur Funeral Home, 5 pm to 9 pm Sunday and Monday until the hour of service.
