Robert R. Lenzner, age 76, of rurl Valders (Pigeon Lake), died Sunday afternoon, September 28, 1997, at the Manitowoc Health Care Center. Funeral Services will be held at 8 p.m. Tuesday, September 30, 1997, at Christianson-Deja Funeral Home, Valders. Rev. Jeff Hoffman will officiate with burial at Knollwood Cemetery. He was born August 6, 1921, in North Prairie, Wis., son of the late Leo and Anna Kuhr Lenzner. He attended Antigo Public Schools. Bob was employed as a mechanic retiring in 1984 from VanDerVaart Concrete of Sheboygan. He married Ilene Johnson February 16, 1946, at St. John's Church, Antigo. He was a veteran of World War II serving with the Army from 1939 until 1945. Bob was a member of the Pigeon Lake Sportsman Club, Friends of Sinawa, and the Pigeon Lake Association. Survivors include his wife, Ilene; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Thomas Lenzner, rural Valders, Steven and Kris Lenzner, rural Valders, Randall and Linda Lenzner, rural Valders, three daughters, and three sons-in-law, Kathleen and Myron Hickman, Newton, Karen and Thomas Driscoll,Valders, Mary and Randy Rosenbauer, rural Valders; four brothers and three sisters-in-law, Roy and Victoria Lenzner, Wausau, Ralph Lenzner, Phlox, Wis., Bill and Phyllis Lenzner, Birnamwood, Dick and Joyce Lenzner, Wausau; four sisters an one brother-in-law, Mabel Noskowiak, Antigo, June Resch, Birnamwood, Catherine Kautza, Aniwa, Lorraine and Emery Resch, Bernamwood; a brother-in-law, Kenneth and Elaine Johnson, Minneapolis, Minn.; 18 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by five brothers-in-law and five sisters-in-law.
