Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at First Reformed United Church of Christ, Manitowoc. The Rev. William Schultz will officiate and burial will be in Knollwood Memorial Gardens, Town of Kossuth.
Mr. Meyer was born Dec. 23, 1890, in the Town of Two Rivers, son of the late Henry and Anna True Meyer. He married Freida Kiel June 23, 1923, at Manitowoc. They farmed at Rt. 2, Manitowoc, retiring in 1960 and moving to Manitowoc to reside. His wife preceded him in death in 1963. He was a member of First Reformed UCC and served on the church consistory a number of years. He was a former member of the Shoto School Board and Town ofTwo Rivers supervisor.
Survivors include two sons and three daughters; a sister, Miss Esther Meyer, of Manitowoc; 13 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. A brother and a sister preceded him in death.
Friends may call at Jens Funeral Home, Manitowoc, after 3 p.m. Wednesday until noon Thursday and then at the church until the time of service.
