Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, Manitowoc. The Rev. Arthur C. Senn will officiate and burial will be in Knollwood Memorial Gardens, Town of Kossuth. Military graveside rites will be accorded by American Legion Drews-Bleser Post No. 88.
Mr. Pelisek was born Oct. 4, 1897, in the Town of Carlton, Kewaunee County, son of the late Frank and Mary Seidl Pelisek. He was educated in Kewaunee County, served in the United States Army during World War I and came to Manitowoc in 1920.
He married Dorothy Boettcher Oct. 21, 1933, at Manitowoc. Mr. Pelisek was manager of the service department at Manitowoc County Co-op, Francis Creek, retiring in 1973. He was past president and charter member of Francis Creek Lions Club and a 61 year member of American Legion Drews Bleser Post No. 88.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy, three sons and daughters-in-law, Milton and Shirley Pelisek of New Berlin, Robert and Janice Pelisek and Frank B. and Chris Pelisek of Mishicot; two daughters and sons-in-law, Melanie and Richard Anhalt and Ann Marie and Charles Wilsmann of Mishicot; a brother, Victor Pelisek of Manitowoc, 14 grandchildren and nieces and nephews. A brother and three sisters preceded him in death.
Friends may call at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home 5 o'clock to 9 o'clock this Tuesday evening and Wednesday until the time of service.
