Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in Saur Funeral Home, Kellnersville. The Rev. Paul H. Blaufuss will officiate and burial will be in Knollwood Memorial Gardens, Town of Kossuth.
Mrs. Porubcansky, nee Mary Martincek, was born Oct. 17, 1900, in Czechoslovakia. At the age of nine she came to the United States, settling in Chicago. She was married to Phillip Porubcansky Nov. 14, 1915, in Chicago, moving to the Francis Creek area in 1929. Mr. Porubcansky preceded her in death April 19, 1969. She was a member of Western Fraternal Life Assn. (ZCBU) Lodge N. 20 of Melnik.
Survivors include two sons, John of Rt. 4, Manitowoc, and Joseph of Francis Creek; a daughter, Mrs. Richard (Violet) Reynolds of Rtl 1, Whitelaw; a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Ethel Porubcansky of Rt. 1, Whitelaw; a sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Janciek of Phillips, Wis.; two stepsisters, Mrs. Mildred Winkelmann and Mrs. Ann Curtis, of Palatine, Ill., seven grandchildren and a great grandson. A son Edward and two brothers preceded her in death.
Friends may call in Saur Funeral Home after 4 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday until the time of service.
