"FRED" Christensen was reared in Glasgow, MT; where he was graduated from High School. He attended Oklahoma School of Business in Tulas, OK. Fred was also employeed with the Corps of Engineers in Kansas City, MO. Fred & his wife, Ethel moved to Missoula, Montana in 1947, where they resided until their deaths.
Fred was also employed by the Northern Pacific Railroad before joining the Anaconda Company. Fred & his wife, Ethel were very active & Members of the First Assembly of God Church in Missoula. Fred was also the director of the former Missoula Mission for two years, & also a Member of Lumber & Sawmill Workers Local 3038.
Fred Christensen & his wife Ethel, were both tragically killed (instantly) in an automobile accident while on vacation in Canada. While traveling to Vancouver, B.C; they were hit head-on by a Transport truck that had crossed the highway's center line.
Fred Christensen is buried next to his wife, Ethel, in the Missoula Cemetery, in Missoula, MT.
