Gladys M Hamilton, 82, 2611 Capital Avenue, died of heart ailment Friday at the Urbandale Health Center, 2614 NW 84th St, Urbandale, where she had lived for four months. Services will be at 230 pm Monday at Hamilton's Funeral Home, with burial at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery. Mrs Hamilton was born in Exline and lived in Des Moines since 1931. She had been a drape seamstress for Black's Furniture and was a member of Capitol HIll Christian Church. Survivors include a daughter, Shirley Jones of Newton, two sons, James and Stanley, both of Des Moines, and three sisters, Bertha McCoy of Centerville, Agnes Stubbs of Altoona and Ida Specht of Marshalltown; two brothers, Dwight Stevens and Dale Stevens, both of Altoona; seven grandchildren; and four great grandchildren. Friends may call after 3 pm today at the funeral home, where the family will be present from 4 to 7 pm Memorial contributions may be made to her church.
