This community mourns the passing on Sunday of Mrs. Elizabeth Andrews Cramer. While Mrs. Cramer spent her young life in this place, most of her married life was spent in Albany, moving here about 14 years ago with her invalid husband to whom she gave the best that was in her for 11 long years.
One of her outstanding characteristics was giving to those she loved her tenderest care. Mrs. Cramer had been in failing health for nearly a year and not even her closest friends knew how ill she really was because she was uncomplaining and nearly always had a smile and a joke for those she met.
Funeral services were held from her late home Tuesday afternoon. She is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Harriet Hadley and Miss Jennie Andrews; and two brothers, William and David Andrews, all of this place. [Altamont Enterprise, Altamont, NY – Friday, February 15, 1935, pg. #11]
