The former Mary Bell, she was born on Aug. 22, 1890 in Bakerville, Wood County, the daughter of Peter and Katherine Bey Bell
In March of 1915 she was married to John Hauser at Sherwood. Her husband died in 1941.
She was a member of St. John Catholic Church, St. John, its Christian Mothers Society, and was a member of the Auxiliary of Hilbert.
Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. William (Geraldine) Olander of Milwaukee, and Mrs. Doris Dohr of R. 2, Hilbert; four sons, Harold and David, both of Chilton, Donald and Oscar, both of R. 2, Hilbert; 15 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren, and two sisters, Mrs. George Kretsch of Kiel and Miss Elizabeth Bell of Marshfield. Two sons, six brothers and four sisters preceded her in death.
Funeral Mass was at St. John Catholic Church, the Rev. Anthony Birdsall was celebrant of Mass. Burial was in the parish cemetery.
