Funeral services will be held Monday at the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home with Rev. Delmar Daniels, pastor of the Free Will Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be made in the Oakwood Cemetery. Friends may call after noon Sunday at the home of the parents at 829 S. Spring St. here.

***Please note that the above obituary is an excerpt from a much later newspaper article. On April 1, 1960, after an argument with his wife, Mr. Morgan took the life of his mother-in-law, Birtie Ann (Rodgers) Stout, and later that day ended up taking his own life in what the police at the time termed as a murder-suicide. At the request of Willie Bell, I will not be posting the newspaper article here. I will say that it made front page news for the local newspaper at the time. I appreciate your understanding. - Kandace Gutierrez
