On 30 January 1951, at Clallan County, Washington he married Mary Neifort, of Bloomfield, Nebraska.
Robert Enlisted on 12 July 1951 in Seattle, Washington and was Honorably discharged on 11 February 1955 at San Diego, California.
During his Military service, on 13 September 1952, at Clallam County, Washington Robert married Nadine Lavern Collins, of Grand Junction, Colorado.
After being discharged from the Military, on 13 April 1955, at East Stanwood, Washington he again married, this time to Roberta Erickson, of Ukiah, California.
Then on 9 November 1957 he married Leah L. Phillips in Woodinville, Washington. Leah was from Kellogg, Idaho.
Then he married Alice L. Elwood at Clallam County, Washington on 13 August 1960, Alice was from Everett, Washington.
Later, on 22 January 1970 Robert married Emilie Avenson in Lynnwood, Washington. Emilie was from Park Rapids, Minnesotta.
Finally on 4 July 1981 he married Doreen Helen Williams in Seattle, Washington. Doreen was from Yamhill, Oregon.
Robert passed away on 24 March 2012, at 80 years of age. He was laid to rest at the Washington Veterans Cemetery at Retsil, Washington.
