OBIT = Francis Paul Goodin, 59, of 1225 S. 40th St., Kansas City, KS died Saturday at Providence-St. Margaret Health Center. He was born in Plattsburg, MO, and had lived in the Kansas City area bout 40 years. He was a maintenance worker for the Kansas City Stock Yards Company for 30 years. He was a Navy Veteran of World War II. He was a member of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He was a member of the Amalgamated Meat Cutters and Butcher Workmen of North America.
He leaves his wife, Mrs. Leola Dee Goodin of the home, a stepdaughter; Mrs. Betty Imogene Harrity, Kansas City, KS; a sister Mrs. Mary Ruth Pettijohn, a brother Frank Goodin, and his mother Mrs, Lillie Jacobson, all of Bonner Springs, KS; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Simmons Chapel; burial in Maple Hill Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 o 8 p.m. Monday at the chapel.
