Annie was found as a small stray puppy over the Thanksgiving Holiday. Attempts to find an owner were not successful so she made her forever home first in St. Louis and then most of her life in New Mexico.

In 2007 Annie was diagnosed with Addison's Disease. Her life long condition required daily medication and a monthly shot. She lived a normal and healthy life with regular care.

Annie's human family decided to begin rescue and foster for Miniature Pinschers so that others, like her, could be saved and find their forever home. Because of Annie over 200 dogs passed through her home on their way to make families happy.

She was a great friend who loved everyone and she will always be missed.

"We who choose to surround ourselves with lives even more temporary than our own, live within a fragile circle; easily and often breached. Unable to accept its awful gaps, we would still live no other way. We cherish memory as the only certain immortality, never fully understanding the necessary plan." -Irving Townsend
