Barbara was born the daughter of the late Hildred Thomas Groves and Thelma Andrews Groves. She was a member of the Eastern Star AREME #372 where she was a past Matron and she was employed with Network Real Estate. Barbara was an avid cat lover. Surviving is her son, Michael A. Shreckengost; a daughter, Erika S. Goodman and husband Tom, NC; three grandchildren, Sara, James, and Rachel Goodman; two sisters, Pat Weston and husband John, Bonnie Waters and husband John; one brother, Tommy Groves and wife Linda; auntie Thelma Justice; and special friends, Jo Whiting and Holly Cooper. Barbara died at Britthaven Northchase.
