Agnes Stubbs, 88, of Bishop Drum Care Center died of congestive heart failure there Sunday. Services will be Wednesday at 10 am at Bethany Reformed Church of which she was a member. Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery. Mrs Stubbs was born in Exline and had lived in Des Moines most of her life beofre moving to Johnston three years ago. She was a homemaker and a former artist.
She is survived by two sons, Ronald of Altoona and Gene of Portland Oregon; two daughters, Linda Patten of Cedar Rapids and Lenora Youngberg of West Des Moines; a sister, Ida Specht of Marshalltown; a brother Dwight Stevens of Altoona; nine grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren. She was peceded in death by her husband, Walter Glenn Stubbs. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm today at Hamilton's Near Highland Memory Gardens Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to her church.
