H. Michael “Mike” Goff, passed away August 14, 2014 at the Heartford House in Owensboro. He was born on January 20, 1942 in Daviess County to the late Hugh and Rebecca Goff. Mike was a member of the Knights of Columbus. He graduated from OCHS in 1960 and was a member of the Breakfast Club at Dee’s. Mike spent 8 Years in the Army Reserve and spent 24 dedicated years at GE until his retirement. Mike was a sports fanatic and enjoyed flying the American Flag. Most of all, he loved his family and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and friends.

Mike is preceded in death by a son, Tommy Goff; Brother Patrick Goff, and Sisters Martha J. Goff and Pamela Daughtery (Don).

Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Sherleye Goff; Daughter, Jennifer Harris (Ryan) of Louisville; Sons, John M. Goff (Marni) of McKinney, TX, David P. Goff (Renae) of Zachary, LA; Grandchildren, Brittany Goff, Garrett Goff, Christopher Goff, Elise Goff, Will Harris, and Logan Harris; Brothers, William T. Goff of Georgia and Richard A. Goff of Texas; Sister-in-law, Lorena Goff of Indiana, and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be 10:30AM Monday, August 18, 2014 at St. Mary Magdalene. Visitation will be Sunday, 2-8PM with prayers at 6:30PM at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory and from 8:30 until the time of service at the church. Burial will be 3:00PM at Resurrection Cemetery.
